I highly recommend Bridging the Gap and Dr. Teo Buzas. I have struggled with knee and hip issues the past couple of years and worked with several physical therapists with very limited improvement. I read an article by Dr. Teo Buzas which cited patient issues and the approach taken to address them - it made sense so I scheduled an appointment and was very pleased with the initial consultation.
Each session with Teo was one on one - he was not juggling multiple patients - I had his full attention. We discussed my goals and the best path to reaching them. My goals were to get back on the tennis court, back to spin class and other physical activities. Teo’s goals were to educate me on understanding my pain (how it is multifactorial) and empower me with a program that would allow me to manage my situation going forward. Working with Teo twice a week and following the exercise regimen, I was back on the court and in spin class in four weeks. He has provided me with a routine that not only strengthens the muscles around my problem areas but my core and upper body as well. Teo has given me the tools I need to eliminate/decrease discomfort, allowing me to participate in the activities I enjoy - and for that I am very grateful!!
